# How the 9Daily leaderboard works: today, week, all time

Every golfer in the world plays the same nine holes each day, so one leaderboard can compare every round. Here is how 9Daily ranks them, and why the board waits until you have played.

- Today ranks every round of the day by score to par on the same course.
- This week (Monday to Sunday) and all time rank by average score to par, from 3 and 10 rounds on.
- Other scores stay hidden until you have played your own round, so nobody gets spoiled.
- Each of your leagues has its own board next to the world.

## How does 9Daily rank today’s round?

The 9Daily board for today ranks everyone who played the day’s course by score to par. Everyone played the same nine holes, so the scores compare directly.

From 20 players on, 9Daily also shows your place out of all players and the share of rounds you beat. Before that it says you are one of the first rounds of the day.

## How do the week and all-time boards work in 9Daily?

The longer boards rank by average score to par, so a player with more rounds is not ahead just for playing more. Until you have enough rounds, 9Daily shows how many more you need.

## Why can’t I see other scores before I play 9Daily?

Play first, then see: before your own round, the 9Daily board and Home show nobody’s scores. That keeps the day fair and the course a surprise. Your leagues and invitations are still there before you play; only the scores wait.

## How do 9Daily leagues fit in?

## Which round counts on the 9Daily leaderboard?

One round a day counts: your round on the day’s course. [Practice rounds on past courses](https://9daily.golf/guides/practice) never count. Player names are filtered, and anyone can report a name.

## Can I hide my name on the 9Daily leaderboard?

Yes. In Settings, Hide my name on the world board shows you there as Anonymous golfer, without a country. Your score still counts, and friends and leagues still see your name.
